CLSA Webinar Series 2018-2019
The Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA)’s webinar series covers a broad range of topics related to the study of health and aging in Canada and around the world. The webinar series resumes this fall and will include topics related to the CLSA data on sleep, physical activity and lung function as well as linked environmental exposure data.
The 2018-19 CLSA webinar series runs monthly from September to June. Fall presentations include:
September 2018: The Global Importance of Frailty and Pre-Frailty in Middle Aged Adults: A PURE Study, presented by Dr. Darryl Leong
October 2018: Enriching the CLSA with environmental exposure data: The Canadian Urban Environmental Health Research Consortium (CANUE), presented by Dr. Jeffrey Brook, Dr. Eleanor Setton, and Dany Doiron
November 2018: Moving more to breathe better: Associations between physical activity, sitting time, and lung function in the CLSA, presented by Dr. Shilpa Dogra
December 2018: Clinical Features of REM Sleep Behavior Disorder in the CLSA: Can we improve the screening tools?, presented by Willie (Chun) Yao
CLSA webinars are broadcast using WebEx. Attendees will have the option to connect via computers or mobile devices. Instructions on how to use this application will be sent to attendees by email.
